REGIONAL DRESSAGE FESTIVAL SERIES!!

Simone Pye, Thursday, 21 February 2013

An initiative of Dressage NSW supported by Equestrian NSW

Dressage NSW is delighted to announce the Events that will form part of the inaugural Regional Dressage Festival Series in 2013.

Through the support of Equestrian NSW we are able to pass on a cash contribution to the Clubs conducting these events as an incentive for them to be part of the series.

Our aim is to support the development of dressage in the regional areas.  We look forward to having more clubs involved with the Festival in the future.

Bridle Numbers - Now compulsory for Dressage

Monday, 23 February 2009

Bridle numbers are COMPULSORY for ALL horses competing in official tests regardless of where the competition is held.  Bridle Numbers are also recommended for horses competing in Associate competitions as well.

From Monday, 27 April 2010, Equestrian NSW take over the issuing of bridle numbers for NSW horses from Dressage NSW.  Please find below the Equestrian NSW Application for Bridle numbers form below:

Bridle Number Application Form

It is now compulsory for ALL horses competing in ALL Official tests to have a Bridle Number.

This is a FREE service from Equestrian Australia NSW.  You/the owner &/or horse/pony DO NOT have to be a member of EA to get a bridle number

All you have to do is:

1.  Ring Equestrian NSW Office on 02 9620 2660
2.  Request to get a Bridle Number
3.  They will give you one directly over the phone
4.  Done!

This number you are given is the number for the life of the horse/pony.  So if you sell the horse this number goes with them.  If you buy a horse remember to ask them for the horses bridle number.

The bridle number may be displayed on bridle or saddlecloth and must be clearly seen on both sides of the horse.
